Money#
Your USDC across chains: see it, receive it, send it, bring it in, put it in a vault.
As built: the Money door (
/tw/money) holds balances, Receive, Send, fund a vault and the link to the Auction House. The old Deposit page (/tw/deposit) now redirects there (or to the mandate's Fund sheet when the link names a mandate). Parts still as designed are marked below.
Chains#
Torii Wallet mandates run on Base Sepolia (chain 84532), a test network, with test USDC. The Money door reads your wallet on seven chains: Base Sepolia and Arbitrum Sepolia (test networks), then Base, Arbitrum One, Ethereum, OP Mainnet and Polygon. Each balance is read from the chain itself, with USDC where a verified USDC contract exists for that chain. Solana and Starknet are not supported. The page names a chain in words ("Base Sepolia, test network"), never only a number.
Balances. One settled USDC total, then a row per asset under each chain. The total counts USDC only; a gas coin has no price here and shows "–" in the USDC column. A chain with nothing on it is hidden, except Base Sepolia. A balance that could not be read shows "–", never 0. A send of yours still waiting for its receipt appears as "+ amount pending" and is not in the total.
Receive#
Open Money, then Receive. The sheet shows your address with a copy button and a QR code of the address, a network picker, and the line "Send only on <chain>". The same address works on every network listed; choose the network the sender will use. Other networks may not arrive.
Until your wallet is connected, the page says: "Connect your wallet to see balances."
Send#
Open Money, then Send. Choose the network, the asset (USDC, or the chain's gas coin), enter the recipient's 0x address and the amount. The form refuses an address that is not valid, the zero address, your own address, and an amount above your balance on that chain. It shows a network-fee estimate, or "unknown". Review shows the amount, address, network and fee; hold the button for 0.4 seconds to send. The activity line reads Sending, then Sent only after the chain's receipt says success, or Send failed.
Sending uses the same embedded-wallet send as the NightWatch Wallet tab. Where sending on a chain is switched off on the server, the sheet says "Sending on <chain> is switched off on this server." and sends nothing. Recent sends lists the sends made from this browser only; a send left pending is checked against its receipt the next time you open the page. A shared history across devices is as designed, not built.
Best way in#
The Receive sheet shows the best way in, best first, with a fee and a time.
- Fee and time are estimates, not a quote. They carry an "est." tag.
- A route is user-signed from start to finish. The server builds and shows; your wallet signs.
- Native USDC arrives by a plain transfer when it is already on that chain, or by Circle's CCTP burn and mint when it is on another chain.
- Other assets are swapped to USDC in your own wallet first.
- On a test network, swap routes read "unavailable" and an exchange cannot withdraw to a testnet. The page says so rather than inventing a route.
Fund a vault#
On Money, the Fund a vault list shows each of your mandates with a Fund link (a closed mandate reads "Closed"). It opens the mandate page's Fund sheet (/tw/mandates/<id>?sheet=fund). After you sign a mandate the next screen is the same sheet: "Signed. Next: fund the vault."
It shows:
- the vault address, with copy and a QR code;
- the chain in words and the asset ("USDC only. Other tokens are not counted.");
- the best way in, as an estimate;
- Deposit from your wallet: two signatures (approve, then deposit) from one button.
Use the button. A plain USDC transfer to the vault address arrives in the vault, but the contract does not count it as a deposit. Stray USDC can be withdrawn after a stop.
Only what you deposit is reachable by the agent. Nothing else in your wallet is.
Bid in the Auction House#
Money shows your usable USDC and one link, Bid in the Auction House, to the NightWatch Auction House (/market). Bidding happens there. There is no bidding screen in Torii Wallet. The usable balance is your settled USDC total; the Auction House applies its own chain rules.
Withdraw#
Open the mandate page and press Withdraw. The contract decides when it opens. While the mandate works it reads "Locked while the mandate works", with the date it opens. After a Stop it opens at once. After the end date it opens when the house settles, or one day after the end. See Delegate.
